Reports can be shared for advocacy purposes, program evaluation, grant writing and easily communicating important data to concerned community members.

During this session we explored local, regional, state and national data in the CORE Results Menu on DataShare in order to gather insights, identify trends, and make meaning of data in these Health & Wellness impact areas:

1. Equitable access to affordable, quality care (e.g., insurance coverage, medical “home”)
2. Appropriate utilization of care (e.g., early prenatal care, screenings, oral health)
3. Behaviors that maintain or improve health (e.g., breastfeeding, immunizations, healthy eating, active living, diabetes monitoring, decreased substance use)
4. Optimal health status (e.g., birth outcomes, teen birth rates, physical and behavioral health status, disabilities, mortality rates)
