This workshop is designed for beginners to professionals with experience in survey creation. The session will answer some frequently asked questions, such as;

- How do I ensure my survey aligns with my goals?
- How do you promote inclusive practices when designing your questions?
- What are some best practices for integrating multiple languages into my survey?

This second session focuses on Data Analysis & Sharing Your Findings. This workshop is designed for beginners to professionals with experience in survey creation. - Once you receive multilingual results, what’s the best way to translate and review the data?

Visual reports are used to tell powerful stories about your community. Learn how to create an impactful report and drive a conversation for change. This hands-on workshop, co-hosted by DataShare Santa Cruz County and CORE Investments, will teach participants how to choose graphs, maps, indicators and text boxes to create a visually appealing and informative report. Reports can be shared for advocacy purposes, program evaluation, grant writing and easily communicating important data to concerned community members.Este taller práctico, con co-anfitriónes DataShare Santa Cruz County y CORE Investments, enseñará a los participantes cómo elegir gráficos, mapas, indicadores y cuadros de texto para crear un informe visualmente atractivo. Join this bilingual training and learn to easily create a dashboard of hand-picked data indicators grouped by specific measures that track or gauge progress or status on county-level wellbeing goals and programs. Dashboards are panels of hand-picked indicators, which are often grouped by a general topic such as Mental Health, Food Insecurity, etc.Únase a esta capacitación y aprenda a crear fácilmente un tablero de indicadores de datos seleccionados a mano agrupados por medidas específicas qué rastrean o miden el progreso o el estado de los objetivos y programas de bienestar a nivel de condado o vecindario. During this session we explored local, regional, state and national data in the CORE Results Menu on DataShare in order to gather insights, identify trends, and make meaning of data in these Health & Wellness impact areas:
- Equitable access to affordable, quality care (e.g., insurance coverage, medical “home”)
- Appropriate utilization of care (e.g., early prenatal care, screenings, oral health)
- Behaviors that maintain or improve health (e.g., breastfeeding, immunizations, healthy eating, active living, diabetes monitoring, decreased substance use)
- Optimal health status (e.g., birth outcomes, teen birth rates, physical and behavioral health status, disabilities, mortality rates)
Vea esta conversación sobre aprovechar datos locales para fomentar la salud y el bienestar, una de las ocho Condiciones de CORE para la Salud y el Bienestar.
