Data Alignment
A number of initiatives and collaborative efforts within Santa Cruz County have come together to identify specific indicators that can be used to measure well-being in our community. Measuring progress towards well-being using the same set of indicators allows us to show progress on the factors that most directly impact our community's status. CORE (Collective of Results and Evidence-based Investments), the Santa Cruz County's Strategic Plan, CAP (Community Assessment Project), Thrive by Three, Cradle to Career, and Santa Cruz County's Health Services Agency Community Health Improvement Plan have all identified a set of shared data indicators.
The Alignment Tool allows individuals and organizations to see what the common indicators are, which initiative is using them already, and make decisions about whether to use those same indicators in their own strategic plans or other efforts. If you want to have your organization's or initiative's indicators added to the alignment tool, please use the Contact Us page to make that request.
