Teens who were Never in a Physical Fight: 11th Graders

Measurement Period: 2017-2019
This indicator shows the percentage of 11th grade students who were never in a physical fight during the past year.

Why is this important?

Physical fights can stem from repeated aggressive behavior involving a power imbalance, anger, unaddressed mental health issues, or self-esteem problems. Repetitive physical fights can have lifetime repercussions, contributing to lower attendance rates, lower self-esteem, depression, and trouble with the law.
